On Monday, November 25, 2024, we received a Notice from the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Unit. It features the signature of the unit’s CEO, Charmaine Donovan.
This Notice informs licensed agents “that the Non-Resident Ambassador to the UAE will be available to execute oath ceremonies from 9th to 14th December, 2024.”
In order to confirm your attendance at one of these ceremonies where new citizens swear oaths to Antigua and Barbuda, RIF Trust will communicate the following to Charmaine Donovan’s organization:
- Your application number
- Names of everybody over 18 included on your application
- Your country of residence and travel itinerary should you be arriving from outside the UAE
There are 3 last considerations to observe:
- If you reside in a jurisdiction that houses an Overseas Mission of Antigua and Barbuda, you will not receive permission to cross borders to swear your oath at another Mission
- Dates the Non-Resident Ambassador will visit the UAE to execute oath ceremonies in 2025 will be announced once finalized
- You will still need to spend 5 days in Antigua and Barbuda within your first 5 years as a Antigua and Barbuda national
