Citizenship by Investment in the Caribbean 2024 Price Hikes

As laid out by the Caribbean Countries’ Citizenship by Investment MOA, July 2024 has brought greater clarity. We now know the new Citizenship by Investment in the Caribbean price tags. In this article, we will share the details of the costs of the programmes in each of the 5 countries.

Antigua and Barbuda Investment Thresholds

There will be Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship Cost Rises in 2024. They will be as follows:

  1. National Development Fund (NDF) – $230,000 for a family of up to 4 and $245,000 for families with 5+ members
  2. University of West Indies (UWI) Fund – $300,000
  3. Real Estate – $325,000

Yet Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment remains available at a minimum price of $100,000. This is due to a grace period that will process applications at the current pricing until Wednesday, July 31st, 2024. Thursday, August 1st, 2024 will see applicants charged according to the new investment thresholds.

Dominica Investment Thresholds

Dominica Citizenship by Investment Threshold Revision has gone ahead. Here are the new minimums for the Economic Development Fund (EDF):

  • $200,000 for a single applicant
  • $250,000 for a family of up to 4

There is no Dominica Citizenship by Investment grace period. The price rice became effective on Monday, July 1, 2024.

Grenada Investment Thresholds

There has been Grenada Citizenship by Investment Cost Inflation in 2024. IMA Grenada communicated the following thresholds to apply from the beginning of July:

  1. National Transformation Fund (NTF) – $235,000 for a family of up to 4
  2. Approved Project Investment – $270,000

Then along came (Hurricane) Beryl. As a response to this natural disaster, IMA Grenada sent out a new Circular. It communicates that “the Agency has decided to extend the application submission deadline to July 12, 2024.” That means the minimum Grenada Citizenship by Investment reverts to $150,000 for a short window.

St Kitts and Nevis Investment Thresholds

There was no St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment price increase in 2024. That’s because they already raised the threshold in 2023. The minimum required investment doubled to $250,000.

St Lucia Investment Thresholds

The St Lucia Citizenship by Investment Cost Bracket Update came into effect on Monday, July 1, 2024. The new thresholds are:

  1. National Economic Fund (NEF) – $240,000 for a family of up to 4
  2. Investment in an approved real estate project – $300,000 for families of any size
  3. Investment in an approved enterprise project – $250,000 for a family of up to 4

There is no St Lucia Citizenship by Investment grace period. The minimum prices are now fixed.
